What You Can Expect

As the Tax Transformation and Business Process Manager, you will evaluate existing processes and challenges across the tax function, make recommendations for improvements, and follow through with tax process design and solution. The primary focus area will be on direct tax matter for our global subsidiaries. You will collaborate with team members both within and outside tax to develop and execute solutions. You will manage projects from start to finish, including defining scope, establishing teams, tracking performance measures, and coordinating communication among stakeholders. Key responsibilities include conducting complex system analyses, evaluating business processes, and developing user requirements for new and existing systems. The role also prepares project documentation, reports, and quality standards, while providing insight, training, and education to impacted parties. Candidate will also assist in the execution of these processes for certain regions to meet compliance and financial requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to understand tax concepts and improve operational processes. Experience with artificial intelligence, data management, data analytics, business process improvement and project management is required.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Lead teams and other stakeholders in the initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of complex engagements; perform tasks such as monitoring project progress, managing changes to project scope, schedule, budget, tracking key performance indicators and creating reports and presentations to be delivered to relevant clients and/or stakeholders; develop and deliver tax methodologies for various industries focused on program management and large transformational programs, specific to finance transformations
  • Collaborate with team to create a plan, drive design and vision, build and maintain project execution plan and some or all the following: scope, schedule, budget, approach, assumptions, deliverable definitions and communication plan; develop and sustain trust-based relationships with all levels of the team.
  • Act as project manager leading multiple tax disciplines ranging from direct tax, fixed assets depreciation, transfer pricing, and indirect tax
  • Be able to independently understand the requirements of a need for data and help drive a vision and "white space" of how that process could be enhanced by systems, process, and technology.
  • Serve as a lead for certain countries to ensure all compliance, tax accounting, and other requirements are met.
  • Share best practice knowledge with the broader tax transformation and compliance teams

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Proactive, self-starter with demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple, competing priorities. Highly disciplined and able to work under strict/ evolving deadlines in fast-paced collegial environment.
  • Experience with implementing artificial intelligence and demonstrated ability to learn and adopt new learnings/technologies
  • Experience with tax technical matters, for example: Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740), corporate consolidated returns, partnership returns
  • Experience with systems such as SAP, JDE, Oracle TRCS, Longview
  • Experience with data analytics, transformation, and visualization tools such as Alteryx, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau
  • Working knowledge of data management and data analytics concepts
  • Strong foundational understanding of tax concepts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Your Background

  • Minimum of Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business, information science or related fields required
  • 6+ years of finance, accounting, analytics/data management or related experience required
  • 2+ years of tax experience preferred
  • CPA or other professional designation preferred
  • Knowledge or experience with LATAM-related tax is highly preferred

  • Up to 10%
