Tax, Trusts & Estates-Of Counsel | NY/NJ

A highly regarded full-service law firm, with a sophisticated private client practice, is seeking an experienced Tax, Trusts & Estates attorney to join its team as Of Counsel. The estimated salary range for this position is $250,000 - $300,000 (annually), commensurate with experience. This position can be based in either their NYC or Newark office.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior-level attorney who advises high-net-worth individuals and families on complex estate planning, wealth transfer, and tax matters in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on sophisticated estate planning strategies, including drafting and implementation of wills and trusts

• Handle trust and estate administration matters

• Counsel clients on business succession and intergenerational wealth transfer planning

• Advise on charitable and philanthropic planning strategies

• Structure family partnerships, LLCs, and other advanced planning vehicles

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Tax, Trusts & Estates law

• Admission in both New York and New Jersey required

• Strong background in estate planning, estate/trust administration, and transfer tax matters

• Experience representing high-net-worth clients on sophisticated planning techniques

• Excellent drafting, analytical, and client relationship skills
