zTrip is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Taxi Dispatcher to support evening transportation operations. In this role, you will coordinate driver assignments, monitor active trips, and provide timely support to drivers and customers to ensure efficient, reliable service throughout your shift.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent communication and customer service.

What You'll Do as a Taxi Dispatcher

Dispatch Operations

• Assign drivers based on trip volume, availability, and service requirements
• Monitor active trips and address routing, scheduling, and operational challenges in real time
• Communicate trip updates, route changes, and important instructions to drivers
• Ensure timely and efficient service coverage throughout the shift
• Respond quickly to service disruptions and help implement effective solutions

Driver & Customer Support

• Serve as a primary point of contact for drivers during operational hours
• Assist drivers with trip-related questions and operational needs
• Provide support to customers regarding transportation services and scheduling concerns
• Resolve service issues professionally and efficiently to maintain customer satisfaction

Documentation & Administrative Support

• Maintain accurate dispatch records, trip logs, and operational documentation
• Assist with billing inquiries and general administrative tasks during evening operations
• Track service activity and ensure records are completed accurately
• Support compliance with company policies and operational procedures

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with operations, customer service, and management teams
• Share important service updates and operational information
• Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment

What We're Looking for as a Taxi Dispatcher:

• Previous experience in dispatching, transportation, logistics, fleet operations, or a related field preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
• Professional communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams
• Familiarity with dispatching software or fleet management systems is a plus
• Valid driver's license required
