We are seeking an experienced Taxi Mechanic to join our team and help maintain the performance, safety, and dependability of our growing fleet.
What You'll Do as a Taxi Mechanic
As a Taxi Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring fleet vehicles remain road-ready while minimizing downtime and maximizing vehicle reliability.
Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative service on taxi fleet vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
- Troubleshoot vehicle issues and complete repairs accurately and efficiently
- Perform engine, brake, suspension, steering, and electrical system repairs
- Identify potential maintenance concerns before they become major issues
Safety & Fleet Readiness
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Verify vehicles are operating safely and efficiently before returning them to service
- Maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Support fleet reliability by minimizing vehicle downtime
Documentation & Recordkeeping
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and repair documentation
- Document completed repairs, inspections, and recommended services
- Communicate repair updates and maintenance needs with management and operations teams
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with fellow technicians and fleet operations personnel
- Assist in maintaining an organized, safe, and productive shop environment
- Support special maintenance projects and operational initiatives as needed

What We're Looking for as a Taxi Mechanic:
- Experience as an Automotive Mechanic, Taxi Mechanic, Fleet Technician, Automotive Technician, Diesel Mechanic, or related role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Valid driver's license required
- ASE certifications are preferred but not required
