The The Coordinating Council (TCC) - Comminity Health Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the efforts of TCC Leadership to enhance community health. This position is responsible for facilitating and coordinating workgroups focused on improving health and human services within the county. The TCC Lead collaborates with community agencies to track and address local health issues, assists in the development and implementation of programs, and ensures that initiatives are organized, action-oriented, and have clear goals and deliverables. Additionally, the TCC Lead facilitates issue action groups, engages local coalitions, and builds partnerships with public figures and organizations to drive community health improvements. Key responsibilities also include preparing reports, tracking progress, responding to requests from community agencies, and supporting the Director of Strategic Development in their efforts.
A trauma-informed approach to service delivery emphasizes physical and emotional safety, choice, empowerment, and trustworthiness for customers. The impact of trauma is broad and touches many life domains. Participation is mandatory for activities required for Summit Pointe to become a “Trauma Informed System of Care.”
