POSITION TITLE: TCOOMMI-ICM Case Manager

STARTING PAY: $18.69/HR EEOC CODE: Professional FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
SHIFT: Fulltime; Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
JOB PURPOSE:
Provides intensive case management services to offenders with severe and persistent mental illness who are on adult criminal justice supervision (probation or parole) within our service area with the goal of reducing recidivism and successful completion of probation or parole through management of mental health related problems.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in social, behavioral or human services or is a registered nurse. (Social, behavioral, and human services are psychology; social work; medicine; nursing; rehabilitation; counseling; sociology; human development; physician's assistant; gerontology; education psychology; special education; early childhood intervention; or early childhood education.)
Preferred: At least six months' experience in providing mental health services to adults, children and adolescents; work experience within jail setting.
DEGREE AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
BA/BS in field specified above or licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
