Ability to problem solve Ability to work collaboratively with staff in an educational setting. Regular and predictable attendance Qualified to be employed as a teacher aide per Civil Service and NYS Education Department guidelines. Responsibilities shall include but are not limited to the following: Attend meetings as needed Execute directions provided General Teacher Aide assignments Support Students with Special Education services. 1:1 Student Support Assistive Technology Attendance Data Collection Feeding or assistance feeding General Clerical Assignments General Education classroom aide support General Supervision - Arrival, Dismissal, Playground, Cafeteria, Transition Times General Student Assistance Lamination Lifting - Unassisted and assisted for school aged children with little ability to manipulate themselves.
