Lifesteps is immediately hiring a full-time Teacher Aide (also known as Child Care Assistants or Assistant Group Supervisor) to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, in the preschool classroom inside Knoch Primary School. This position works during the school year only. Summers off work.

Required:
High School Diploma/GED and two years of experience working with children - can be paid or unpaid work such as Summer Camps, Church Nursery, Babysitting, Bible School, Volunteering with children, etc.
Ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds without assistance
Ability to provide acceptable state clearances
Able to multi-task and work in a team environment
Preferred:
Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or Human Services field
Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or Human Services field (OR 60 credits)
