Requirements / Qualifications

• Valid California Driver s License or valid form of identification - First Aid and CPR certifications Must demonstrate Highly Qualified status using the following education requirements: - High School Diploma or equivalent AND (a) Two years of higher education study (48 semester units or 72 quarter units), OR (b) Possess an Associate s or higher degree, OR (c) Successful completion of a Fontana Unified School District-approved Paraprofessional Certificate and/or Paraprofessional Assessment Exam. Under the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, the law requires that paraprofessionals who assist in classroom instruction must meet the specific educational requirements listed above.
