Assist in the preparation, delivery, and management of classroom activities that align with RYSS's commitment to educational equity and excellence. Qualifications: Education/Certification: Must meet one of the following:Passed a formal academic assessment Hold an associate's degree Completed two years of study at an institution of higher education Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with children Effective communication skills in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus) Experience: Prior experience working with children in an educational or community setting preferred Major Responsibilities and Duties: Instructional Support Provide instructional support to individual students or small groups under teacher direction. Assist in preparing lesson materials, classroom displays, and learning centers. Support the administration and scoring of assessments and assignments. Help maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment. Assist with inventory and care of instructional materials and equipment. Maintain accurate records and assist with required documentation. Support substitute teachers with classroom orientation and guidance. Student Management 8. Supervise students throughout the school day, including during lunch, recess, and transitions. Communicate student needs or concerns to the teacher or campus leadership.
