Position Summary Clean/disinfect toys per DEEC regulations. Set up afternoon activities/learning centers and engage in play. Prepare/serve snack. Restock classroom areas as requested. Participate in group/story/circle time. Assist classroom teacher with closing of the classroom each day.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting classroom teachers in the care, health, welfare and safety of children 12 weeks - 5 years of age in a group setting.
Working with a team of teachers, to provide a caring environment where children are safe and secure.
Cleaning/disinfecting toys per DEEC regulations.
Setting up afternoon activities/learning centers and engage in play.
Preparing/serving snack.
Restocking classroom areas as requested.
Participating in group/story/circle time.
Assisting classroom teacher with closing of the classroom each day.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 18 years of age.
The ability to exchange information on factual matters, greet visitors, explain hospital policies, and/or relay messages to appropriate personnel.
Courtesy and tact when dealing with patients, visitors and/or hospital employees. More sensitive situations may be referred to others as appropriate.
Shift/Hours:
Part time -15/hours per week.
Shift/hours: 2:30pm - 6:00pm.
Monday - Friday!
