Position:Teacher Assistant- Stacy Middle School Bridges Program
Location:Stacy Middle School
Schedule:2026-2027 School Year - Hours 7:45 - 2:15
Salary:Per Contract $19.10 - $24.92/hour based on experience & certification
To Start:September 2026
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or at least 2 years at an institution of higher education
- Special Needs Middle School experience preferred
- Experience as a teaching assistant in Special Education environment, preferably with students with social-emotional disabilities
- CPI training preferred
- Team player, flexible
Duties:
- Assist and support students in specialized program for students returning from extended
absences and for students with social-emotional disabilities
- Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team of educators
- Ability to modify curriculum
- Work collaboratively with others in the classroom
- Must attend and participate in early release day activities
