    Job Description

    The Allen County Educational Service Center is seeking qualified applicants for an Alternative School Teacher Assistant/One-on-One Aide. The position includes supporting our classrooms for students in need of behavior intervention. The Board has identified the following qualifications as having particular importance for the position:

    • Experience with students who demonstrate significant cognitive disabilities
    • Experience with students who demonstrate significant negative behavioral tendencies
    • Experience with, or willingness to be trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
    • experience collaborating with educational staff members
    • Demonstrate positive team player attitude
    • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness and ability to think outside the box
