POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Education: BABS
• Experience: Teaching experience preferred
• Licenses: Other Appropriate Texas Certification
• Bilingual or such alternatives as ESL certification may be acceptable to the district.

Provide students with appropriate instruction in Reading/Language Arts to help students fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth as needed.

ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES

• Design lessons and units with sequential content incorporating a variety of techniques and materials.
• Establishes a learning atmosphere which enhances students subject matter competency and student self-image.
• Works cooperatively with faculty, staff, and administration.
• Works to improve professional competency.
• Oversees appropriate LPAC and TELPAS responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.
