Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations: State of Michigan Teaching Certification, certified to teach General ZG K-5. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned by principal): - Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that are in accordance with established procedures and facilitate active and engaged learning. - Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust educational strategies accordingly. - Build a conceptual understanding while supporting students at a variety of ability levels. - Collaborate with colleagues to define classroom success. - Communicate regularly with parents/guardians, students, and colleagues regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements. - Maintain accurate and complete records of student progress and development. - Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school. - Stay informed about current trends, best practices, and attend professional development workshops and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
