Teacher- ESL (AM)

TITLE: Teacher, part-time REPORTS TO: Director of Adult Education or Designee SUPERVISES: N/A TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year to be established by the Board PRIMARY FUNCTION: To help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, responsible citizens. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: As set by the State certification requirements for the teaching area: ESOL, CDP, or GED/ABE At least three (3) years of teaching experience Prior experiences working in an environment with adult learners PREFFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bilingual, (English and Spanish) EVALUATION: Annually by the Director of Adult Education or designee SALARY: $30/hour DATE: May 4, 2022 New London Public School District is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
