VACANCY NOTICE THE AVAILABILITY OF THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON SUFFICIENT FUNDING AND ENROLLMENT
TITLE: Special Education Teachers for Extended School Year Program DATE OF OPENING: July 2026
QUALIFICATIONS: • Certified or certifiable as a teacher of children with special needs. • Teaching experience with school-aged children with special needs. • Knowledge of sensory, language, and multi-sensory programs. • Experience planning and implementing special needs programs. • Outstanding preparation and/or experience may be substituted for some of the above qualifications.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: To plan and implement programs for students with special needs. Programming includes: • Academics • Speech and language development • Fine and gross motor skills • Areas involving activities of daily living • Social skills
SALARY: As per current contract, four hours per day, four days per week, up to six weeks (depending on assignment).
