Job Requirements

  • Education Requirements: Relevant degree or equivalent in education or related field
  • Certifications Requirements: Must have valid teaching certification/license for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) or related credentials
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 year experience working with Deaf or Hard of Hearing students, strong knowledge of deaf education strategies and accommodations
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work dayshift schedule, compliance with facility legacy requirements, background check, excellent communication skills, and sensitivity to diverse student needs
