Teacher – High School/Middle School Special Education - 10 month position

Bonnie Brae is seeking a full time Teacher capable of working in a team environment and willing to teach a variety of subjects as needed. Many of the students have struggled in school and have a variety of academic backgrounds and functioning levels. The Teacher must be creative, hardworking, flexible and able to engage students in hands-on learning.

Candidate will possess the following:

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree.

Certificate: CE, CEAS, or Standard

Current letter of approval from the Office of Criminal History Review.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities / Experience:

Operates from a personal code of ethics.

Skilled in methods of effective classroom management.

Skilled in methods of managing student behavior.

Able to supervise students in structured and unstructured situations.

Capable of writing clear, informative, grammatically correct evaluative reports.

Capable of basic computer literacy.
