Description
This is part-time Associate Teacher position.
Expected work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 1:30pm.
JOB SUMMARY
This position will serve as a classroom teacher to facilitate each child's growth in social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development with age-appropriate activities. This position will also participate in the planning, development, and implementation of program goals.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Create a nurturing, learning environment for children to facilitate the development of fundamental skills, including social interaction, motor skills, language, and cognitive development.
Assist with the development of lesson plans based on the children's needs and interests.
Utilize play-based activities to teach children.
Assist with the assessments of individual children.
Participate in community outreach activities as necessary to maintain appropriate children enrollment.
Maintain clear communication with teaching staff regarding each child's development and the program.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
