Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with early childhood learning standards

  • Create a welcoming classroom where children feel secure, respected, and encouraged to explore

  • Promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through structured and unstructured activities

  • Maintain discipline and establish routines that encourage positive behavior and cooperation

  • Observe, assess, and document children’s growth, behaviors, and learning progress using appropriate tools and methods

  • Build strong partnerships with families through regular updates, parent-teacher conferences, and progress reports

  • Follow all health, hygiene, and safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organized classroom

  • Collaborate with fellow teachers, aides, and school administrators to support school goals and share best practices

  • Modify activities to accommodate children with diverse learning needs and developmental levels

  • Use technology to support learning and classroom engagement

  • Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and staff meetings to stay current with early childhood education trends

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a dedicated Preschool/Pre-K Teacher who can contribute to our nurturing and enriching learning environment while upholding Otter Learning’s mission and values.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED.

  • Previous experience in child care setting is preferred.
