General Music Teacher and Choral Instructor

2026-2027 School Year

A position is available for a General Music and Choral Teacher for JFK Elementary School. The successful candidate will instruct general music to students in preschool through grade 5. They will also lead the school-based chorus. The successful candidate will also work collaboratively with the middle school music teacher, planning for programs and activities inclusive of students in both buildings.

Location: JFK Elementary School

Appropriate NJ certification(s) required.

Salary Range - $60,000 to $65,000

Qualifications:

• New Jersey State Certification with appropriate endorsements.
• Exceptional writing, oral, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Required criminal history check and proof of US citizenship or legal alien status.
• Such alternative or additional qualifications as the Superintendent or Board of Education may deem appropriate.
