Location: Burlington County Special Services School District

Position Summary

• BCSSSD is seeking a compassionate and qualified Teacher of Special Education to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will hold a valid NJDOE Instructional Certificate in either Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities and demonstrate a strong interest in supporting students ages 1821. Candidates should have experience or a high interest in working with culturally diverse learners and students with behavioral challenges, using strategies such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)or similar instructional approaches.

Qualifications

• NJDOE Instructional Certificate (Teacher of the Handicapped or Teacher of Students with Disabilities) required

• Experience working with students ages 1821 preferred

• Knowledge of ABA or similar behavioral instructional strategies

• Ability to relate to culturally and linguistically diverse student populations

• Commitment to inclusive and supportive educational practices

Salary & Benefits

• Annual Salary Range: $64,064 $82,487 (commensurate with education and experience)
