Additional Salary Info: Eligible employees may also receive a $2,000 stipend for a MA degree or a $3,000 stipend for a Doctorate.

About the Employer The Santa Barbara County Education Office provides services and leadership to 20 public school districts and 10 charter schools. SBCEO offers programs and services in support of nearly 70,000 children throughout Santa Barbara County - from Santa Barbara to Santa Ynez, Lompoc, Orcutt, and Santa Maria.

Job Summary To serve as an instructor for the program for visually impaired individuals at the Santa Barbara County Education Office Special Education Program. Responsibilities include conducting assessments and providing instruction to students as well as offering consultation to parents and educators.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Valid CA Visual Impairments Special Education Credential or equivalent required or willingness to pursue appropriate certification.
