The VI Teacher collaborates with educators, families, and related service providers to meet the unique educational needs of each student.

    Requirements / Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in VI Education, Special Education, or a related field · Valid teaching credential in Visual Impairments (TVI certification or eligibility required) · Experience working with students who are blind or visually impaired preferred · Knowledge of braille and tactile learning strategies · Understanding of visual impairments and their impact on learning · Strong collaboration and communication skills · Ability to adapt materials and integrate assistive technology · CPR / First Aid certification required or willingness to enroll in program
