Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) - Part-Time - 100% Remote - NC License Needed

As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking a part-time Teacher of the Visually Impaired to provide virtual services for charter school students in North Carolina. This position is for the upcoming school year.

Teacher of the Visually Impaired Salary: $65-$75 per hour

Teacher of the Visually Impaired Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Teacher of the Visually Impaired license and credentials
• Experience providing telehealth/virtual services preferred
• Ability to attend IEP meetings as needed
• Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
• Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain) 

Teacher of the Visually Impaired Responsibilities May Include:

• Evaluating and determining appropriate itinerant services based on student needs
• Providing ongoing support to teachers regarding the needs of the student
• Recommending and assisting with adaptations for classroom instruction
• Providing direct services with the use of the appropriate mode of communication
• Using assistive technology with student
