Job Summary

The Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) serves as an instructional leader and coach providing support to teachers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and parents. Four distinct TOSA positions exist within the district to advance the strategic priorities of the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP), the Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Strategic Plan, and state and federal programs for targeted student groups.

Requirements / Qualifications

Appropriate Clear Multiple or Single Subject teaching credential, or equivalent EL Authorization Minimum of three years of successful teaching and/or coaching experience (no unsatisfactory areas marked on the most recent evaluation) Experience with meeting the needs of all students in a diverse, multicultural environment

• Credential Copy (Clear Multiple or Single Subject Teaching Credential)
• English Learner Authorization
• Letter of Introduction
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (Must provide three (3) letters of recommendation dated within the last two years, including one from your current supervisor.)
