About the Role:
New Artisens Childcare in Philadelphia, PA is looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our growing team! Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities that support child development
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for all children
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child development and milestones
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support program goals and curriculum
  • Maintain accurate records, attendance, and developmental documentation
  • Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, and outdoor play
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
  • Prior experience in a childcare, preschool, or early education setting
  • Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and staff
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to pass required background checks and clearances per Pennsylvania state regulations
  • Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine passion for early childhood education
