About the Role:New Artisens Childcare in Philadelphia, PA is looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our growing team! Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities that support child development
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for all children
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child development and milestones
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support program goals and curriculum
- Maintain accurate records, attendance, and developmental documentation
- Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, and outdoor play
Requirements:- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Prior experience in a childcare, preschool, or early education setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and staff
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass required background checks and clearances per Pennsylvania state regulations
- Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine passion for early childhood education
