We are seeking an energetic and experienced Teacher to join our team! As a Teacher, you will lead a class of students through a successful school year, creating and implementing a comprehensive educational curriculum. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and has a passion for teaching!
Responsibilities:
- Plan a classroom curriculum that meets school standards
- Encourage the development of students’ critical thinking skills
- Prepare any necessary learning materials
- Assign homework
- Take attendance
- Grade assignments and provide feedback
- Document students’ learning progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and school personnel to create a healthy and safe learning environment
- Report and document behavioral incidents
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Education or related field

- Knowledge of childhood development principles and learning styles
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using learning technology tools
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to different situations
- Experience in creative writing, public speaking, or proofreading is a plus - Previous experience teaching at the k-12 level is preferred
- Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
- Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
