Teacher-Port Neches Intermediate-3rd Grade Reading/Social Studies

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education: BA/BS

Experience: Teaching experience preferred

Licenses/Other: Appropriate Texas Certification or such alternatives as may be acceptable

to the district.

Provide students with appropriate instruction in the subject area assigned to help students fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth as needed.

ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES:

• Design lessons and units with sequential content incorporating a variety of techniques and materials;
• Establishes a learning atmosphere which enhances students subject matter competency and student self image;
• Works cooperatively with faculty, staff and administration;
• Works to improve professional competency;
• Other duties as assigned by the principal.
