The Early Childhood Teacher will plan, organize, and implement the instructional program in a Catholic learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their full academic potential. In addition, the PreK4 Teacher is responsible for supervising children at all times and providing a safe and developmentally appropriate program for students that complies with all mandated state and Archdiocesan policies and procedures.

Essential Functions

  • Provides grade-appropriate instructional program for Early Childhood students that adheres to the school's philosophy, goals, and objectives.
  • Develops lesson plans with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocesan course of study.
  • Observe and assess student progress, keep detailed records observing student behavior and progress, and share with parents.
  • Communicate in a clear, professional, and timely manner.
  • Attend all faculty meetings, professional development days, and workshops.

Position Qualifications

  • 4-year degree is required, but a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood is preferred.
  • 2 years of related experience working in an approved early childhood school.
  • Experience in a Catholic School setting is a plus.
  • Experience working with a developmentally appropriate student readiness program is desired.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills required.

Pay Range:  $34,320 - $39,520, Annualized
