The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children can develop socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.
Harvis, Inc. has partnered with an Early Learning Center located in NE Pennsylvania to identify and fill the role of a teacher for school age children.

Responsibilities include
* Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
* Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
* Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
* Encourage children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
* Observe and assess children's progress and communicate updates with parents.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
* Follow the Center’s policies, licensing regulations, and health and safety guidelines.
* Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to provide high-quality care and education.

What We Are Looking For
* High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
* Previous experience working with school-aged children.
* Strong communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills.
* Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule.
* CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
* Ability to pass required background checks and clearances.
