TITLE: PK Teacher REPORTS TO: Principal
LOCATION Lunenburg Primary School (PK-2), 1041 Massachusetts Ave, Lunenburg, MA 01462
GENERAL This Special Education Preschool Teacher will work with three-year old and four-year old students in an intensive/integrated program.
The ideal candidate should be energetic, motivated individual to work with collaboratively with team members. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the content area and be familiar with responsive classroom strategies. The ideal candidate should be passionate and enthusiastic educator who can motivate students to discover their potential.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Appropriate Massachusetts Educator License required - Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities required, Teacher of Student with Severe Disabilities, preferred. Attendance at the New Teacher Orientation/Induction is required Strong knowledge of early childhood developmental stages Three years of experience, preferred. Strong communications skills; verbal and non-verbal.
