    DESCRIPTION:

    The Department of Special Education at Nassau BOCES is seeking temporary teachers. The successful candidates must have experience working with students with learning, behavior, and social/emotional needs, possesses strong skills in differentiated instruction and demonstrated abilities in data-informed instruction and the Next Generation Learning Standards.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    New York State Certified Special Education Teachers, preferably holding two or more certifications in the following certification areas:

    • Students with Disabilities (Birth-2)
    • Students with Disabilities (Grades 1-6)
    • Students with Disabilities (Grades 5-9)
    • Students with Disabilities (Grades 7-12)

    SALARY: As per contract
