SUBJECT: Teacher: Wellness Support Center at Elm Park Community School
REPORTS TO: Director of Student Support and Engagement and Building Administrator
We are seeking a dedicated educator to fill our teacher position at the Wellness Support Center. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to create an environment where students are supported with academics and social and emotional education. Your responsibilities will include supporting students with school assignments, implementing the social and emotional curriculum, and monitoring student progress with their academics and social and emotional development. As a teacher in the Worcester Public Schools, you will be expected to provide rigorous instruction to the diverse population of students in your classroom. You will be expected to align your teaching to the district and state curriculum; to regularly assess students for learning comprehension and to modify your teaching to ensure that students are learning; to provide a classroom that is conducive to the learning needs of all students, especially students who are learning English, and students with disabilities.
