About the Role:
Crossroads Christian Academy in Las Vegas, NV is looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher's Assistant to join our team! Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in delivering engaging, lesson plans and classroom instruction
- Support individual and small group learning activities to reinforce academic concepts
- Monitor and supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, and recess
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment
- Assist with grading, record-keeping, and preparation of classroom materials
- Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents regarding student progress
- Provide one-on-one support to students who need additional academic assistance
Requirements:
- Negative TB Test
- At least 1 year of experience working with children ages 12 months old through 5 yrs old in a classroom setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic demeanor with a passion for student success
- Ability to align with and support the Love and Logic Philosophy
- Must be able to pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid certification and other licensing mandatory classes within 90 days of hire
