Program Overview:
The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) are designed to support and extend learning opportunities for K-12 students beyond the regular instructional day and/or year. The program will provide academic enrichment opportunities for students to meet state and local standards in core academic subjects, enrichment activities that complement regular academic programs, and support parents/families for literacy and other educational services.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Teacher will provide support and instruction to participating students in the program at their assigned school. The teacher will:
1) Work collaboratively and flexibly with other 21st CCLC educators to meet the program's goals
2) Ensure overall program integrity by being well-prepared, setting instructional outcomes, using resources effectively, and providing a safe and secure learning environment for all students
3) Provide personalized academic support to students by identifying their learning needs, creating customized lesson plans, and teaching subject matter to help them achieve their educational goals.
4) Use relevant data points to monitor student progress and growth, including academic, behavioral, and attendance / engagement
5) Provide academic performance/progress updates to appropriate personnel and parents / families of participating students
6) Provide opportunities for parent / family engagement to support their children's learning
Responsibilities:
Term of Employment: SUMMER 2026 - Final schedules and dates to be determined based on student enrollment. Program will begin after regular school year ends through the end of July.
Pay: $25 per hour
