Job Summary We are looking for an energetic Teaching Assistant to join our team! As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist the classroom teacher with classroom duties and instruction. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and has a passion for teaching!
Responsibilities:
Assist students individually and in small groups
Supervise students in the classroom and elsewhere in the school
Enforce classroom rules and procedures
Maintain clean classrooms and change diapers if needed and help with pottying.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Previous experience as a teaching assistant is preferred
Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
