Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support our educators in providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, including toddlers and infants, and possess strong classroom management skills. This role involves assisting with educational activities, promoting positive behavior, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Duties

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities tailored to the needs of children.

• Provide care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
• \n
• Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment conducive to learning.
• \n
• Engage with children in play-based learning activities that promote development in various areas including social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.
• \n
• Monitor children's behavior and implement behavior management strategies as needed.
• \n
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• \n
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.

• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Experience

\n

• \n
• Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or educational setting is preferred.
• \n
• Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices is highly desirable.
• \n
• Experience in special education or working with children with diverse needs is a plus.
• \n
• Skills in toddler care, infant care, babysitting, or related fields will be beneficial.
• \n
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
• \n
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary.
