This full time regular education teaching aide position is open at beginning of the 2026-27 school year. This position is scheduled for 7.0 hours/day during the school year (normally from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm).

Essential Functions:
Assist in the planning and implementation of age appropriate activities.
Supervise students in all program activities and ensure that students are under adult supervision at all times.
Address the health and safety needs of program participants.
Communicate regularly with other staff regarding program/student issues.
Provide a nurturing environment for program participants.
Maintain an orderly physical environment conducive to optimal growth and development of program participants.
Assist in the preparation of materials needed for daily activities.
Attend required professional growth inservices, i.e. Blood borne Pathogens, Medication Distribution, and all required inservice workshops.
Participate in job specific workshops and conferences when appropriate.
Be knowledgeable of emergency procedures, i.e. fire, tornado, medical.
Provide medication administration, storage and recording consistent with school district policies and under the direction of the Community Education Coordinator.
Other duties as assigned.
