Key Responsibilities
Classroom Leadership & Instruction
Implement daily and weekly lesson plans to successfully enforce full course objectives in the primary educator's absence.
Supervise the daily work of students, proactively evaluating and supporting individual academic achievement.
Create and maintain a positive, structured learning environment conducive to student growth and development.
Manage, maintain, and control all educational department supplies, tools, and job-related equipment.
Safety, Compliance & Training
Strictly adhere to facility policies during critical incidents to prevent injury, escape, or property damage.
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding student and facility information.
Successfully attend and complete all required training, onboarding, and certifications.
Consistently pass all mandatory drug screenings.
Collaboration & Reporting
Develop and submit clear, accurate, and concise written reports in strict compliance with departmental procedures.
Actively participate in and provide written reports for multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
Foster positive, collaborative working relationships with students, facility staff, contractors, volunteers, and external community agencies.
Accept supervision and integrate constructive feedback to continuously improve performance.
