The Waupun Area School District is seeking an Administrative Assistant to the Director of Teaching and Learning to begin as soon as possible. This position is a regular, full-time, 12-month position. The Administrative Assistant position requires a versatile individual who can support multiple departments, including Teaching & Learning, Athletic Director, Human Resources, and Mental Health assistance. The Administrative Assistant provides essential support in managing budgetary records for Title I, II, and IV, as well as local accounts, and assists with federal and state grant correspondence. This role assists with organizing instructional resources, maintaining student and staff records, and supporting assessment and reporting processes. The position also includes responsibilities related to athletics, human resources, and office management, such as scheduling, record-keeping, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and confidentiality are vital for success in this role. The role also involves a strong commitment to continuous learning, ensuring smooth communication, and contributing to a positive, team-oriented work environment.

The Waupun Area School District is a 4K-12 school district serving a population of 1900 students in South Central Wisconsin. Located conveniently on Hwy 151, Waupun is only 45 minutes north of Madison and 20 minutes south of Fond du Lac. WASD is home to four schools, including a charter school in Fox Lake.
