Summary of Position: Under the supervision of the Dean of Academic Excellence, Education, and Human Services, the Manager of Teaching and Learning provides leadership and strategic vision in managing, coordinating, developing, implementing, and evaluating the college's academic development needs focused on ensuring that faculty, staff, and administrators have the instructional skills, materials, and background knowledge to achieve student success. In addition, the Manager leads full-time and adjunct faculty professional development activities that include, but is not limited to: excellence in teaching, the scholarship of teaching and learning, and building and supporting inclusive learning environments that honors each learner's identity. In addition, the Manager also provides credential review, coordinates the performance review cycle with division administrators, and provides onboarding programming and support for all new faculty. The Manager of Teaching and Learning provides a collaborative, team-based approach in working with faculty, academic administrators, and Academic Excellence to ensure quality in teaching and learning to achieve Key Results. This position works to promote educational justice within the division and the larger academic institution.
This is a hybrid eligible position that would allow for 1-2 days a week working from home after the training period.

Complete all required College training and responsible for maintaining the skills necessary to complete the essential functions of the position as defined by the department.

Starting annual/hourly salary range based on education and experience: $62,270 - $82,960
