About the Job
This position is a 50% time teaching specialist position for fall semester (August 31, 2026-January 6, 2027) in the Department of Biology Teaching and Learning. This teaching specialist position will be the instructor of record for one section of Biology 1009 and is expected to teach in-person on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00-2:15 PM on the Minneapolis East Bank campus.
This role will not lead to a tenure-track position and is not eligible for H-1B or Green Card Sponsorship.
The person in this position will:
Applicants should have an advanced (preferably terminal) degree in a biological science or equivalent experience. Previous teaching experience preferred.

Qualifications
Advanced or Masters level degree in Biology or related field.
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $30.50 - $31.42/hr
