Job Description:
- Lead up to 30 production employees in a common work team to attain quality, safety and production targets by establishing and managing the priorities of the work team.
- Focus on the safety of work area and facility
- Execute plans provided by Production Manager
- Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency. Works to improve processes, timeliness and reduce costs by eliminating non-value added activities.
- Participate in operations projects including RIWs, CI, and Standard Processes
- Provide team training and coaching, as well as provide input regarding annual performance evaluations for team members.
- Perform production activities such as operating machines and equipment along with team member subordinates, leading by example, and pitching in to help out the team in whatever capacity is needed.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of manufacturing experience
- Welding experience preferred
Top candidates will also have:
- Experience in manufacturing fabrication
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work overtime to support production demands.
Summary Pay Range:
$26.93 - $40.39
