    Join ChildServeas an Autism Day Program Team Lead, responsible for the successful daily operation of one or more classrooms within the Autism Day Program. In this leadership role, you’ll ensure a therapeutic, healthy, and safe environment for children, families, and staff while supporting ChildServe’s mission and values.

    Schedule / Where You’ll Be

    Onsite at our ChildServe - Des Moines location. Service hours are 7:30am – 6:00pm Monday–Friday, with limited evenings and weekends for special events.

    How You’ll Make an Impact

    • Participate in intake, referral, and admission of children into the Autism Day Program.
    • Ensure program standards meet DHS and CARF requirements.
    • Prepare lessons to promote skill development and independence.
    • Ensure timely, accurate documentation according to regulatory standards.
    • Maintain professional, timely communication with families.
    • Recruit, select, and hire qualified direct care staff.
    • Train and support staff to meet organizational and regulatory expectations.
    • Coordinate with other Team Leads to maintain consistent program operations.
    • Complete weekly and monthly status reports and documentation for billing.
    • Support compliance, quality improvement, and safe classroom environments.

    What You’ll Need

    • Bachelor’s degree in education, human services, or a related field.
    • Minimum two years serving children, preferably with disabilities; one year supervisory preferred.
    • Must pass DCI fingerprinting, Iowa background check, and child abuse affidavit.
    • Ability to lift 35 lbs and work onsite with regular attendance.
