Performs peripheral vascular and/or echocardiographic procedures at a high technical level. Uses independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative to perform state-of-the art diagnostic ultrasound procedures. Administers contrast medications as prescribed and under the supervision of a physician.
Qualifications:
Education Required
· High School Diploma or GED required.
· Graduate of Ultrasound or Echo School/Program
License, Certification and/or Registration
· Require ARDMS or CCI registration in ECHO
· Require RVT
· BLS certification required within orientation period
· MOAB required
Experience
· 3 years of ECHO experience
