Job Description
General Purpose
Under the direction of the HITS Regional IT Enterprise Revenue Cycle Manager, the IT Enterprise Revenue Cycle Team Lead - collaborates with the Regional HITS leaders in setting the digital and technological vision that aligns with and supports UM Health's mission, strategic business objectives and operating philosophy.
Supports the manager in providing work direction to the department.
Collaborative and innovative team member with a track record of partnering successfully with various teams and key stakeholders to transform the use of digital technologies.
The Team Lead works directly with HITS and functional management in establishing the strategic and tactical planning, implementation, and execution of technology plans to ensure they are in alignment with revenue cycle initiatives.
The Team Lead works closely with the functional and operational groups to develop short and long-term system plans. Additionally, they will coordinate application training for all relevant applications used by the support services departments, and conduct customer workflow analysis to enhance processes, and functions, as a liaison to internal revenue review teams.

Job Requirements
Work Experience • Minimum two (2) years of professional or information technology leadership, lead, or senior experience (preferably healthcare and professional and/or hospital billing focused). • Experience with the methodology and process of application and technical architectural life cycles. Must have hands-on experience implementing at least one major, enterprise-wide information system. • Experience in the development and use of project management methodologies, processes, and tools. • Experience with financial and clinical applications and experience in a complex, matrixed healthcare organization are preferred. • Epic experience a plus. Education • High school diploma and a minimum of 9 years of IT, healthcare, and professional and/or hospital billing, or other relevant experience; o OR associate's degree computer science, IT, healthcare, or related field and a minimum of 7 years of IT, healthcare and professional and/or hospital billing, or other relevant experience; o OR bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, healthcare, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of IT, healthcare and professional and/or hospital billing, or other relevant experience. • Preferred: Master's degree in computer science, IT healthcare or related fields.
