Position Overview they also need wet paint spray exp The Production Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations within a designated production area to ensure high-quality product output and on-time delivery to Shipping. This role combines hands-on production support with leadership responsibilities, focusing on safety, efficiency, quality, and team development. Production & Process Management Monitor daily production to ensure schedules and customer delivery timelines are met Utilize hour-by-hour boards and standardized work to maintain consistent, repeatable processes Coordinate with other departments and leadership to ensure proper job sequencing Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Bill of Materials (BOM) for each product Quality Assurance Verify that all products meet company quality standards and customer specifications Ensure correct packaging and labeling for all finished goods Identify and address production or quality issues in a timely manner Reporting & Systems Maintain accurate reporting of production output, scrap, and issues on a daily basis Use NAV system for inventory accuracy, department transfers, and tracking Provide feedback to engineering and leadership regarding process, tooling, or efficiency improvements Safety & Workplace Organization Ensure all equipment, tools, and workspaces are clean, organized, and operating safely Promote and enforce safe work practices at all times Additional Duties Perform other related tasks as assigned to support operational goals Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous manufacturing experience required Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred Working knowledge of: Standard Work processes Takt time and cycle time Standard in-process stock (WIP) principles Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills Working Conditions This position operates in a manufacturing/warehouse environment and may involve: Moderate to loud noise levels Fluctuating temperatures Exposure to dust, dirt, plastic fumes, and greasy components Physical Requirements Frequent standing and walking (approximately 80% of the shift) Regular lifting, bending, stooping, and kneeling Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs Occasional lifting over 50 lbs Occasional sitting
