Position Summary

General Summary/Responsibilities:

The Neuroscience Lead Advanced Practice Provider (APP) serves as direct leadership and clinical support for the Neuroscience program. Neuroscience location support is affiliated with both Premier Health facility based locations and external partners receiving contracted Neuroscience services. The Neuroscience Lead APP serves in an administrative capacity a percentage of their time and direct clinical care provider in the Neuroscience program for the majority. Lead capacities are driven through a focused subspecialty area of neurosciences to meet the various program leadership needs. The Neuroscience Lead APP partners with administrative, physician, and APP leadership for establishment of network and service line based initiatives to assist in operationalizing. The Neuroscience Lead APP maintains clincal competency in area of focus and serves as a role model for ideal practice and modeling of PH Behavioral Standards. Qualifications

Education

Minimum Level of Education Required: Master's degree

Additional requirements:

Area of study or major: Nurse Practioner or Physician Assistant

Preferred educational qualifications: Master's degree

Position specific testing requirement: Ohio Licensure in respective discipline

Knowledge of Ohio Board of Nursing scope of practice for APNs and onboarding process/Knowledge of Ohio Medical Board for PAs and the onboarding process.

Strong understanding of the credentialing process for APPs within respective division

Ability to write cohesive and comprehensive decision documents and communications.

Some knowledge of payroll systems and schedule management, preferred.

Experience with EMR billing for both inpatient and outpatient.

Working Conditions:
